December 5, 2014: Three Good Things

Today’s good things:

1. Despite panic attacks and fits of depression I ended the day laughing.

2. Despite sleeping most of the day away, I managed to get everything checked off on my checklist for the first time in a week.

3. Despite all the negativity I dealt with today, I never slipped completely into irrationality. I might have had brief flirtations with negative thinking but at its worst I remained capable of reframing my thoughts and looking at things realistically.

Bonus: My vitals today have been spectacular, with even my blood pressure registering in the pre-hypertensive range this morning. That’s the first time that’s happened in over a month.
