I woke up this morning at 9:00 with my alarm. I did my vitals and before I could even get so far as to make coffee, I was overcome with exhaustion and went back to bed. Woke up again around noon, ate, fiddled around on the computer for a short while, then went back to sleep again, finally waking up around 2:30.
I really wish I knew what’s causing this. My mood wasn’t a factor this morning; I’ve been in a good mood since my alarm went off. My meds haven’t changed. I went to bed about 1:30 am and got to sleep fairly quickly, and slept through the night with only a couple interruptions, so I got a good night’s sleep.
If this happened infrequently or even occasionally, I wouldn’t be concerned, but this seems to be a common occurrence recently. My body is apparently needing close to eleven and a half hours of sleep lately and I have no clue why.
If this persists through the rest of the month, I’m going to mention it to my doctor during my checkup at the end of May.
